Investment in pharma substance plants seen at 50 bln rbl

VOLGOGRAD, Nov 23 (PRIME) -- Investment in creation of facilities producing pharmaceutical ingredients is expected at about 50 billion rubles, Deputy Industry and Trade Minister Vasily Osmakov said on Wednesday.

According to the official, India and China continue shipping substances to Russia, and there is no deficit in the country.

"At the same time, we are launching a substances imports replacement project called Substances of Russia. It amounts to about 50 billion (rubles) of investment starting from next year at 10 plants that will produce substances," Osmakov said.

“But it depends on regulations and behavior of foreign investors.”
